Professor Vadim Nikolayevitch Sadovsky is Chief of the Department for Philosophical and Sociological Problems of Systems Research, Institute for Systems Analysis, Russian Academy of Sciences, & Professor at both the Moscow Institute of Economy, Policy and Law, and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Among his publications in English is Systems Theory: Philosophical and Methodological Problems, 1977 (in co-authorship with I.V. Blauberg and E.G. Yudin). He was the translator of the Russion Edition of Popper's The Open Society & Its Enemies.
